Got a used control head that’s an exact match that is in perfect shape mechanically and electrically but he shipped it in a plastic bag. The brown plastic was smashed and I’m having to Humpty Dumpty it back together again. That brown plastic must be made of gingerbread

To close this thread. My compressor rebuild did not work. It leaked at the shaft seal. Bought a new one from Roger along with another dryer and now have cold ac

Well I thought I had cold ac but I just finished taking the console out and fixed all the flap issues and now it’s super cold. I’ll post a pic of the thermometer reading. I had replaced all the diaphragms a few years ago when I recovered my dash so I thought they were ok but the center vent actuator was leaking. Turns out the plastic base where it attaches to arm was cracked. Got another one and used an inspection camera to reattach the arm. Then I replaced the failed vacuum solenoids and corrected some 4pin connections that were hooked up wrong and now the whole orchestra of vent flaps works as designed including comb flap and temp sensors. Also had to replace the check valve at the booster area.
