my 4 way connector, at the brake booster, for the AC, heater valve, flappy, and air tank is leaking. after a number of tests with mityvac and in a bowl of water, it is leaking from the connections. the rubber is supple, crack free, and not leaking. the rubber holes for the lines just seem to be slightly swollen and will not provide sealing with the lines.

common? is there an easy remedy, or just replace and move on?

^^^$5. is great. I thought the part was either 928 574 710 09, or 928 574 710 10, which lists for nearly $300.

Had exactly the same problem on my 87. Think I ended up ordering 92857372905 as a replacement.

That is the complete HVAC vacuum system - line + connectors + valve +++
All the parts are available separately and most are a few $ each. I stock them all.

just order a bunch of vacuum connectors from roger. did not know all of these bit were available individually, AND were so cheap!
