Wow Allan,
that is indeed professional material.
The only reflection I need to make will be : is it worth cleaning the injectors, compared to the price of new ones?
All depends on the cost of cleaning and testing.
Currently I can buy 8 new Bosch injectors for 300€. That is a very good price (normally they cost 45€ each)
When you say cleaning, do you also repair them when necessary? I have no idea how an injector looks like internally?
Is it pure metal or are there also rubber seals inside the injector?
Do the mechanical injectors wear after several years?
I know you are the best professional to answer these questions ...what is your experience about these injectors?

Normally , it's 15€ /each for this kind of injector and you paid only if it's good .
And nothing if they come with other things , like WUR or fuel distributor .
For this kind of injector , it only can be cleanning and testing , nothing else ...
But for you , the price is only beer like the other time !

nice information.
Now I better understand how these injectors technically are made and how they should work.
Hey , I have no problem to pay you for job well done. But ofcourse beer is what we Belgians are good in making and drinking of course :-)
Did you know that we have about 1500 different types of beer in Belgium.
I can send you my injectors, but first can you already see at the color of the spark plugs whether I should clean them ( except for sparkplug 6)
Is the color normal or should I clean the injectors ?

Nice. It seems fun.
I myself like beer but I am more into champagne and whisky.
In 2009 I went to Scotland by my classic car , a MG Midget and visited the Whiskey factory...also interesting to do :

whenever you are planning to do so, I can provide you some beautiful locations that should absolutely visit.
I did a tour of 14 days from Southern Scotland all the way up to the North , near Isle of Skye and back via the East.
Weather was not bad : 2 out of 7 days rain, but other days were sunny.

Nice photos. Beautiful place! I think Ireland is a little bit further away than Scotland , especially the region of Connemara lake.
But I believe it is worthwhile doing such a trip.

Alan,
fantastic news : I was able to repair my injector.
I did what you said : I put injector in carburettor cleaning fluid for about 2 hours,
Then, I let it spray on my test bank and after 5 times pumping it sprayed beautifully and did not leak anymore
modified hydraulic car lifter for testing CiS injectors.

to be sure, today I also replaced my oil because of possible pollution due to petrol because
of the leaking injector.
Some iron sludge detected :
Is this normal?
Oil is about 1year old
No real large iron parts detected.

too long starting....
car runs good when warm. Fuel Warm Control Pressure is 3.6 Bar and is within specs.
However I now encounter that starting the car takes longer than before : about 2 to 3 seconds before engine starts. Same when cold.
I have this since I cleaned my faulty injector.
Could it be related to my Fuel System Pressure which however was fine 1 month ago (5,8bar) ? Any idea what I should first check ?
Could system pressure be too low while my control pressures are fine ?
