I'm planning on pulling the gauge cluster off soon to complete at least the alternator charging bulb job. Might also tackle pegging back my needle on the fuel gauge since it only shows 3/4.

My 81' auto has the 85mph speedo, what are my options for replacement. From past research I believe the 78' is completely different. Would the other model years work. Also is there any difference in an auto or manual as I see 928intl has them listed differently. Thank you.

You need a 170 mph speedo from a 79 to a 81 928.

Nothing else will fit.
