Default A/C system: size of Seal for low pressure switch

Anyone happen to know what size the seal is for the low pressure switch mount [93 GTS originally equipped with R12 system]

In PET it is item No 18 with part No 900 174 011 40

Thanks

Fred

guessing its something you need yesterday, since the part is available for about a dollar?

Purchased a box of of rings from a specialised auto a/c shop down town just after I posted this. I managed to find a Speedtoys thread with most sizes itemised that was helpful but the O ring in the low pressure switch was not mentioned.

Hopefully I do not need to change this item when changing out the filter drier unit

Fred, I get 13 x 10 x 1.5 on the used one I have here, but in my stash of new o-rings, the one I'd choose would be 13x9 x 2. The step in the fitting on the receiver drier is 1.5 mm deep, so I think the old one has been crushed down to that depth. OD of the threads on the low pressure switch is 9.4 mm.

Rob,

Excellent- thanks for that. Got a box with a pile of the little buggers this afternoon- I assume they are all to standard commonly used sizes but...?

Looks as though I am not in quite the hurry I expected to be as I did a vacuum test and the leakage rate is excessive- probably the compressor as there was a small accumulation under the body- bummer!

Regards

Fred
