Cannot separate inner tie rod from steering shaft
I have the inner tie rod tool, I’ve soaked it in PB blaster and tried air tools and a breaker bar.... won’t budge.... I need help!! The outer tie rod came apart with no issues what so ever...

Havent done a 928 inner tie rod yet, but others have a lock washer with a tab on one of the flats to lock it - this tab will need bending away. What do you call the "" tie rod tool" - in my experience you need to counter hold the rack while you apply a wrench to the flats of the inner ball joint.
Where is the ''steering shaft" relevant to an inner tie rod end?

Thanks for the reply, no tab but I'm sure years of corrosion in the threads. Took me all day but when I finally decided " if they break, they break" I locked it in my vice and used a 4 foot cheater bar and was able to break them free! Not fun but now it's time to rebuild it (replace all the seals) and get it re-assembled and back in!
