rear boge shock part number

Ive tried running a search but no luck. Does anyone know the Boge (not Porsche) part number for a rear replacement shock on an 85 S2? My old ones had no pressure and I had to cut them off to get the bottom pin out (that was a fun 4 hours just to get one side out)

Thanks
Sam

Also are the rear shocks the same between ans S2 and an s4? They look similar!

Originally the rears were 928 333 051 08 for 78-86.0, then changed to 928 333 051 16 for Boge, -12 for Bilstein, and -17 for Boge Red. Honestly I'm not sure whether there's a difference between 78-86.0 and 87-95 Boges. It looks like Porsche will sell you the -08 shock for $325 each vs. the -16 for nearly $400 each, so I assume they're different somehow in terms of valving. But from a fitment standpoint, any Boge will fit any year 928.

The Boge # for non-sport rears is 1-0701-32-428-B. For Boge reds, it's 1-0201-32-428-C

Thanks very helpful. Boge less then half the price of other brands here in the UK (£80) but advertised as only suitable for cars built after 08/85 for some reason

Suspension changed for 1986 model year in the rest of the world, while US cars only saw that change after vins ending > 1000.
