Very cool.

Next project - How about making the curved plastic trim piece that fits all along the inside of the console? Not too many unmolested versions of those kicking around any longer.

Great idea to make some 3D printed NLA stuff....with the correct printing-resins it can be much stronger than stock too.

You can always do an acetone wash to get it shiny and smooth. ABS printing has also come a long way.

High quality printers are getting cheaper and cheaper with higher resolutions and better printing materials so we'll see how this goes in the next few years.

Might want to include the 2 metal 'S' clips that were used originally. The plastic snaps may be adequate, but may not when considering extended use and heat exposure (some 'printed parts' materials don't do well with heat).
