Spare tire well electrics - What is this?

Hi, hoping someone in this braintrust can help me with this one.

What is this orange plastic box for? Has connections that go to the battery?

Never have had it hooked up.

Have no idea what's at the other end because that plastic split conduit disappears under the carpet.

Always nice to unwind a future fire..even disconnected, never know what you'll find.

Google says Accele is a manufacturer of backup cameras so could be the answer.

Did you open it? Looks like an in-line fuse holder. Probably goes/went to an audio amplifier would be my first guess.

Too weedy for an audio amp - its some kind of add on-accessory though for sure. If it wasn't connected strip it out...all of it
