Default DFW Breakfast GTG-April 6, 2019

This upcoming first Saturday Breakfast will be at The Golden Egg in Bartonville April 6 ,2019 at 8am!

The Golden Egg
165 FM407
Bartonville, TX 76226

Come see what parts Sterling has in the trunk of his car.
I think I'll bring the Guardian water pump before I install it.
We will see who else shows up with goodies besides Roger (Roger always shows up with goodies!)

The monthly breakfast email notification has already been sent.
If you didn't get the email it that means you're not on the Texas or DFW email list.
If you want to be added, just let LauraV or Roger know by emailing us and Laura will add you to the list.

Third Coast 2019 is October this year - Save the Date!

I guess I will have to get the car done and bring it to breakfast at some point.

Won't make this Sat, going to Katy to play with new grandson, watch my son lead the band for the spring party.

I have actually driven said car myself. It was at a certain point in the evolution, right before the switch to manual I think.

That had to be a while back.

I should be at breakfast, but not bringing my 928. (I have to go to Oklahoma later, and I'm basically already half way there.)
I will be bringing a set of 17" Cup I style wheels and tires (4) that came on my car when purchased, to see if any DFW folks are interested.
Not sure what brand they are, but have "Made in Italy" cast on back.
17x7.5 et 52; 225/45
17x9 et 47; 255/40
They are straight and no curb rash or gouges, but the powder coat is bubbling up in a few places, see pic. Not sure if you can touch it up, but these are ready for a respray--no repairs needed.
Tires are Kuhmo Ecsta ASX. Fronts have decent tread, probably half-life and no edge-feathering at all. Rears are probably good for another 500-1000 miles or several burnouts before you reach the indicators. (I have a feeling the fronts are newer than the rears.)
Anyway, I was thinking $550 or the best offer that compels me to make room in my garage. Delivery to DFW area available for lunch. I can show you pics on my phone of them on the car, I think they fit great.
(If you view this post and are interested but not going, PM me.)
Also, a set of used front black Lloyds mats with "928 S4" in red. Make an offer, you take them.
Let me know if you are interested, or tell someone who is. I'll be in the black Sequoia.
See you soon.
Jason

That could be a tricky exchange...I already owe Pat breakfast. Of course, his interior is already perfect.

Not so tricky. You buy his. I'll buy yours. Different meal tickets. I'll just end up with 2 tickets.

Really nice meeting everyone today... Luckily the rain wasn't that much of a factor.

Kinda sucks it showed up when it did, we usually hang out in the lot for an hour after we eat. It started to pour minutes after I pulled out of the lot.
