Perfect car for U-Boat Steve!
I already texted him on it and will call him tomorrow... It is not right that he does not have a cool 928! This one is cool!

Just curious, did you buy this car from the Carolinas a few years ago when you picked it up?

I'm still wondering what happen to my former 1994 GTS, with 216,000 miles and going strong!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys! I'm wondering if I should try out PcarMarket auction site first before BAT?
Great, and I agree that he would look good in it! He might have seen it before one of the years I drove it down to 3rd coast? I sometimes wish I would have bought his GT when he offered it to me. I had too many at the time, if there is such a thing, but I'm glad it ended up with you. You have taken great care of it!!
No, I got it from Mark Anderson when he listed here for sale. It spent a good part of its life in LA and was serviced by a less than stellar repair shop. I have a huge list of invoices where they were just replacing parts trying to figure things out. Unfortunately for the PO the last time it broke down they told him that the motor was shot. Mark got it from the repair shop and I got it from him. It mainly just needed everything...except for the motor.

That's a beauty. Wish I had a bigger garage. Curious: Is that the famous intake you stripped, conversion-coated, and painted? I owe you for that thread - used the technique on my intake (see avatar). Many thanks, and may a bidding war break out for the GTS!
BTW - I bought my car from a Rennlist ad, and probably over paid. So that's a data point...

Steve,
Stop wondering abut what happened to your old GTS and start wondering about how to get this one into your garage???
As per our conversation regarding buying this GTS. Sell or trade your spare 911 996 Turbo and grab this one! You will be back in the seat of one of the best grand touring cars ever built and right at home!
Out with the old!
In with the new!
And I'm with ya, powder coat those wheels silver!
C mon Steve, do it!
