I need to paint my 1988 CS in Yellow. I just need to find wich one.

This is a little off topic but I just love the brake lights on the GTS's. It reminds me of the current gen Porsche's that have the full bar.

I agree! The light bar on the GTS is a great design touch. Wish they had come out with the wide body cars a decade earlier. The 928 might have survived and continued its evolution...

Yellow still looks awesome!

Simon,

Were any CS's yellow? Would you paint a real CS in anything but it's original color?

Perish the thought!

How about a CS tribute in that Ferrari Yellow? Imagine how cool the CS graphics would look in black on a yellow car! Awesome!!!

Default Porsche 928 GTS 1993

Hello everyone.... I am working on 928,1993gts... issue here is it that it was removed by someone else & I have no idea where the other parts will be assembled to it... e.g. compressor, alternator, tensioning devices etc... from internet I have searched images & somehow I did the engine timing.. although the timing marks matches, engine rotates easily but I do not have the dial gauge specs for this model... I guess it is important as it has variocam & I m not sure how the marks were placed...
if someone here has 928 GTS. Is it possible that I can get some under hood pics from various angles of it .. also I need brake, suspension, transmission & steering pics from different angle... please let me know if someone can help...

It's probably best to start a new thread on this instead of replying to a thread about spottings of the famous yellow GTS in Houston. Also, let everyone know your location in case someone near you has parts or someone wants to offer to come by and give you some tips.

928's don't have vario cam timing (except one, and I doubt you are working on that one).

To each his own. I happen to not like the bumper on the GTS with the full albeit passive bar. And the aero mirrors are not as functional nor do they look better than the flag mirrors. The wide body to me is neither better nor worse, just a little different. That's why I ended up with GTs instead of GTSes.
