I don't have any leaks, but when I do, I'm gonna use this gasket.

Default Option Code M722

Ah, this is option code M722 "Gaskets Matching Interior Leather." Glad Greg in his professionalism got the correct gasket for this customer!

@ Rob E. : I am surprised you didn't know that...

They all leak. I don't use on at all. I just fill the oil when I fill the gas.

More to the mystery. I found these pictures, on the dark web, today.

Full torque on the hardware (84 inch lbs., just for giggles) and virtually no gasket crush....just enough give in the material to seal.

And you only have to torque it down once....not 6 times!

And the hardware is not going to fall out, because the gasket will not crush more, tomorrow, or 6 months from now.

What is going on? Way too confusing!

I'm thinking we need to get some Rennlist detectives busy and see if that location can be isolated!

Can you change the store name to Potdog?

That would be more appropriate....

Ah, you had me for a minute, got all excited that I could get a green gasket for only 38 pounds, but shipping is a bear, and it's cork.

I was hoping to get one in Midnight Blue, to match the GTS.

There's an old saying about British Motorcycles (which I have way too many hours invested in):
If they don't leak, there's no oil in them....

I've had the engine out of one of my Ariel Square 4's for about 20 years (I try not to "rush into things")....and the bike still leaves puddles!

Ariel's overheat badly. No wonder it's been out of the frame 20 years. I always thought they looked cool, unique sound, but they're not practical, never cared for the plunger frame ether.

My favorite part about old british motorcycles is that the casting of the metal can be so bad and porous that the oil leaks through the metal itself lol.

I guess I gotta wait to see when you make these available to the rest of us. I think I need one for my 81's new engine
