Banner Elk? That's only a 7.5 hour drive from Baltimore down I-81, I'll drive on down. By then I should have the emergency brake cable replaced and the spoiler back on....

Cant wait to meet you. Your dedication to these cars is so impressive.

It is one thing to buy great cars and display them. It is an entirely different dimension to see the potential greatness hidden in the gems you have elected to save.

With respect!

Thank you!
Hopefully my 82 will make its 2nd appearance this year. I have had to use it as a daily driver the last week and a whole slew of new issues have popped up.

cant wait to meet you as well, and hopefully some new folks. I have made every SITM since 2012. It’s always on my birthday weekend....I hit the big 50 on this one!

Ron, you HAVE NO CHOICE! You made it last year in the 82(I have photographic proof) and you have made it to a get-together. No excuses. Drive the 82 to SITM!

Dang Ron I didn't realize that you were such a youngster!! LOL. We need to do something for a Happy 50th at SITM!!!
Seth, I'm assuming The Red Witch will not be ready? My Hammer Hai "might" be ready in time. I just need some good luck to go my way, and so far I'm not getting any. The simplest 5 minute job goes to hell and takes 5 hours! LOL.

I think daily-driving is the best way to keep a 928 sorted. Plus it 'distributes' upkeep tasks over a longer period to reduce specific discomfort levels, vs. trying to get everything done/fixed/etc in a panic the weekend before you plan to depart. Lots of surprises are avoided in my limited experience with such things. Lesson: Drive the cars! They love to be driven!

I can't bring the whole fleet. It is just me driving. I am looking forward to ron's 50th birthday party. I see the mexican restaurant being very busy.

Nothing set in stone yet. Loosy goosy plans are to find our way to Georgetown, KY Thursday and party with Greg and company. Then head out on a cannonball Friday running to Banner Elk. Steve know's the drill. AO, Dave, Buckeyes any of you in?

Eric, Jim, Hacker, Kurt, Hans, AO, WI Joe, Dave K. and all of the Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota and Hell 928'ers... Are you in?

Steve will drive the U-Boat, my wife gets Snow White aka "The Exhibitionist" and I'll put the Outlaw in the trailer behind big Blue for a support vehicle, (or something like that). Lamentably, I will be in towing mode and thus unable to participate in what often becomes an open road race, but that's life and ensures I will not be part of the most profitable traffic stop ever. It also suggests, but does not guarantee that the Beer, Tequila and party supplies will get there safely and cold although slightly behind the speedy group.

What is the speed record across Kentucky? I encourage all participants to avoid being caught at speeds that involve incarceration of participants because that would suck!

Summer schedules fill up fast, so lets get this event rolling!

I won't be going down this year. I don't know of any other Buckeye Landsharks at this time.

Wow, that's TMI. I had no idea you and Steve were that close. Ha, Ha

Seriously, I hope the family health issues work out.
