I can identify with a lot of that.

Here's the song that inspired the movie.

I have not seen this 1989 movie in many years, but recall it as being quite good in parts --especially Dern's imagined graduation speech, which I recall as hilarious, I just checked and, sadly, it has not made it to DVD and the seller of a new VHS wants $185 for it.

So a year or so ago I pulled into our local post office, and a guy in a shiny new pickup pulled in right beside me. Commented that he hadn't seen a 928 in years, not since he was acting in a movie with Bruce Dern. Surprised him when I said I knew that flic...

Do you know where I can get the full movie....I looked and can't find it previously, and youtube is only the 928 part. (free of course).
