Welcome to the forum. You will find out that as your passion grows so does the number of 928's you will own. These are remarkable cars and need to be driven.

I hope this will be my last. lol. I just had a heart attack when I saw how much a set of plug wires cost.lol. thank goodness I accounted for some $$ set aside and kept in mind what type car I was dealing with regarding funds. At least my TB/WP was done in Nov 2018. I'm already in $1k just alone this week.

Thank you all... I hope to make it to Frenzy. I travelled 500 miles when I picked it up...which was a great experience. However I want it road worthy and get the BIG important stuff out of the way, Fuel line replacement, Flex Plate, wires Tec. The seats were so dirty but cleaned & conditioned up nicely IMHO.

The quality of the parts is far beyond other cars. Things like hoses, plug wires, last years. These cars were built with the best available. As long as they're maintained properly, they'll last a long, long time. I have 14 other collector cars and none of them have the build quality of my 928.

You're car looks fantastic! Money well spent!!
Thanks for the picture, of Ft Monroe.

Maybe too late, but I usually the 'econo' plug wire kit that has everything except the plug caps, which you can reuse if no corrosion. I think they run about $100 from Mark and probably Roger. The PO of my old GTS had the plug wires replaced at the dealer, who only has them available as separate wires each with its own cost. Total for plug wires was about $1500!

Lovely '88. I may have one of the worst condition running '88s. Finally getting the engine compartment cleaned up. Looked like the Valdez had been there. Paint buffed through to primer, etc. Very much in contrast to yours.

Again, thanks to all for the warm welcome. My engine will never be that of George Micheal's GT, you can eat off that engine. I want it clean but I want it more of a reliable runner that I can take it to Freazy, SITM and etc than a show winning car. I just love the Diamond Blue Metallic. I've ordered a lot of stuff from Roger this week. I got my wires, distributor and caps as well. I'm going to feel so much at a piece of mind when those fuel lines are changed to GB lines.

This car has LSD as well.

My steering wheel center is blue, but the outside leather is black. Did steering wheels come in color combo's?

Beautiful car! I noticed you're in Virginia Beach - if you get a chance, you should bring it to Cars and Coffee in Norfolk next Saturday!

Your interior looks gorgeous; though it doesn't look like linen. Could be the lighting and a soft focus, but like "butta".

Yes, that's the Virginia Beach one and I go to that as well. I actually help organize the Norfolk one which is the 4th Saturday of the month (as well as 5th Saturdays if there is one) - location is Uno Pizza in JANAF. Will plan to roll in with a 928!
