Rookie error...
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...8b5e695719.jpg luckily this was a dry build of the carriers. I hadn't fitted the lifters so it was easy to swap the came over.. next.... |
That's gunna need a much longer timing belt...
very impressive.
Oh my gosh that's funny - thanks for sharing! :D
Plug wires and firing order might be a problem as well.
Ooops...:D |
holy crap - how does an assembly get that far under those circumstances! Wow! (or was this just for sh!ts and grins?)
Rotors on the dizzy aren't timed correctly.
How did they...... look at the size of that water pump sprocket.....I think once the intake is on.... I give up!!!
Trying to make future timing belt service an engine-out task. Saw that Audi V8 with all the plastic chain tensioners on the firewall end and figured it was an upgrade... Hey, no matter how bad the F$#@-up is, you’d rather f$#@ it up on an engine stand than in the engine bay. |
Easy fix. Just open up the bottom end and swap the crank and flywheel around.:icon107: |
Done that a few times. Always throws me for a loop when I try to start the car.
You gotta do this stuff before you have a beer, or 2!
Thanks for this, made my day! Very funny!
