Default Spot the mistake....

Rookie error...



luckily this was a dry build of the carriers. I hadn't fitted the lifters so it was easy to swap the came over..

next....

Plug wires and firing order might be a problem as well.

How did they...... look at the size of that water pump sprocket.....I think once the intake is on.... I give up!!!

Trying to make future timing belt service an engine-out task. Saw that Audi V8 with all the plastic chain tensioners on the firewall end and figured it was an upgrade...

Hey, no matter how bad the F$#@-up is, you’d rather f$#@ it up on an engine stand than in the engine bay.

Easy fix. Just open up the bottom end and swap the crank and flywheel around.

Done that a few times. Always throws me for a loop when I try to start the car.
