To confirm, are these the same wheels that were standard on the 94-95 GTS? I'm thinking no due to the offset of these front wheels are ET70 and the specs on the 928 OC website say the wheels were offset ET65 and 7.5" wide.

No, these are not the front wheels delivered. Those wheels were offset ET65 and 7.5" wide per the OC and 928gt websites.

Not sure about the part no on the wheel, but the 993 winter wheel is this size and offset 8x17. ET 70. Not as rare as the 9”, but not a dime a dozen.

Same as are in the 17/18 staggered set I’ve had for sale forever.

In fact, there was the option X38 that implies "Wider front fenders, including 8 x 17" wheels on front axle" and 67 GTS's were ordered with this option, including ONE that was delivered in the USA, WP0AA292_SS820137.
This is the "Pearlganz", aka the last 928 sold to the public.

What size front wheels were on Japan delivered cars? I believe these had the wider front fenders.
