Did you clean out the oil galleys? Were the plugs removed and replaced with new ones?

I think this plug is new. So, yes.

If you mean the smaller one, maybe not.

Kevin, you should remove all 6(?) of the oil galley plugs and clean out the passages carefully.

In your picture directly above, one of them is at the bottom left of the head.

In the meantime, the heads look awesome!

The bottom little one in the pic, yes. People don't normally think of them (including some of our former vendors here) and you may be surprised what you find.

The same one man shop has done three sets of heads over the past two years - all with zero issues.

Cool. I had one set done by monkeys and there were machining bits in there. Other sets have not been as bad, but there was stuff in there.
