I'm sorry, but that doesn't clarify it.

Do we need to have our guests create their own account on ClubRegistration.net so that their name gets registered with PEC? Do they need to register directly with PEC (if so, please provide those details)? Do we need to add their name to the registration somehow (comments field or something)? Do they just sign in at the PEC gate when they show up (signing in is not the same thing as registering)?

Please clarify this. The last thing we want to have happen is to show up at the gate and they turn my dad away because his name isn't on the right list.

Also, this is a screenshot from Club Registration stating that the status is up to the registrar to confirm:

Is it a coincidence that the Rendezvous 928 event also has a event ID 9928? I just checked a lot of other events and they seem to be given random id's given.

in each events register details, there is a "share" link which shows the ID.

I've registered myself and my 16 year old as my guest (although he'll likely drive his 1987 924S). Thanks for making this process so smooth. We're also booked into the Kimpton. May come into town on Thursday, if not we expect to arrive well before rush hour on Friday.

Default Atlanta Traffic

I don't think about that much being I grew up here.
Yes everyone says our traffic is bad. Compared to Huston or Dallas Texas I think it's not bad at all. Never had the horror of NYC Traffic or many others.
However coming into the city before 4 pm is the best . Otherwise you'll wait. A few people have already made plans for Thursday . We can all go out to dinner on off property, Thursday, if everyone wants to.

Regarding the "Live presentation of 928 #1" scheduled from 12:00 to 1:00 on Saturday, here is generally what I have in mind:

All attendees will have access to the two museum rooms throughout the day, I strongly urge everyone to get up in there and check out all the amazing hardware on display, it is Xanadu for any Porsche aficionado. 928 #1 is up there for viewing along with everything else throughout the day and it, along with all of the cars, are behind ropes that are very enthusiastically enforced by a vigilant staff.

For the scheduled hour I have arranged to be there and have the ropes removed from around #1, for that hour only. Continuing in the spirit of having #1 an accessible and interactive display I invite whomever wants to come up during that hour to explore the car more closely. To what I am sure will be everyone's relief I have no intention of talking for an hour while you all listen..instead I'll give a quick overview of the car and how we can use the hour, then let the hour organically develop with questions / discussion. I'm going to present as If you all showed up at my garage at home and wanted to see it. The group dynamic will drive the content of the hour.

The hood, hatch, and doors, will be open, I invite those who wish sit in it to do so and kind of explore around. Take all the pictures you want, selfies, etc. Have fun with it. I'd really like to get a few group shots around the car if possible as well.

The concept of Andrew not taking for the entire hour is strange to me, after all, he has been talking about 928's since I met him in 1996 or so.

Drooman shutting up about the 928 simply is not going to happen in this lifetime!

Drooman, I appreciate you being so open with the car. It takes a lot of patience and a generous outlook to extend that kind of offer. I very much look forward to carefully checking out the car!

A big thank you to Autohaus Social

This unique local area independent shop has offered their facility for the Sunday Farewell gathering. They were also kind enough to make a web page detailing the entire Rendezvous 928 at PEC event with links, schedules, maps, registration, etc.

So is the Saturday Tech session and lunch at Autohaus Social - 733 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 or at European Classics - 2644 Steve Dr # B, Doraville, GA 30340 ? The way the itinerary is listed on the Autohaus website is a bit confusing as it says the Tech Session is hosted by European Classics and provides their address.
