No accommodations from PEC caused the event to be cancelled for those dates. Yes SITM is first part of the month
I understand that events following. I have already made the commitment to be at that event as well. I could go on all day make amends but bottom line is PEC availability will be a major factor in dictating schedule.
Sorry I didn't see your post about the Rd Atlanta idea but you can't just go by there and Take your car for a drive then take it back once it's out it's out. The last day of this display has yet to be announced but end June is end of our safety net.
thanks for the tenacity ...keep at it!

No, but we could all sign up for the Porsche parade laps that happen as part of that event, and group all the 928s together. If the number was impressive, I'm sure the other Porscheplatz attendees would let all the 928s go at the front behind #1.

Whatever works out though - anything is better than nothing.

Though a great concept, #1 getting to the Mitty would not work out. The logistics of getting the car out of and back into the museum display are not in the cards.

Default UPDATE

JUNE 27th-29th look like these are the dates that are going to work with all the powers that be. ANY ONE that would like to participate in the PORSCHE driving experience will have to schedule that on your own, I cannot schedule those events for you. I would love to just rent the track for the day but it's just not currently in my budget. These dates are the only new I have today still working on the accommodations.

Default UPDATE

We have the entire top deck, June 29th, at PCNA. Car staging at 8am. Official start time for the Car display will be 9am.
For This part of the weekend we will also be able to enjoy the facility at our leisure.
One Porsche Drive Atlanta, Ga. for June 29th.

Just to give an idea of what this type of display looks like.
This was taken at the 000 event last year at PCNA

"For the cars & coffee schedule, I know 000 started at 9am (load-in beginning at 8am) and ended at 12pm. I think this would be best. Then, you guys could head up to lunch or those who purchased demo laps can be ready for their 12:30 check-in time". From event scheduling so yeah it's official 👍

I have set up a new account with clubregistration.net so we they be able to facilitate financial commitment for "Hot Laps"
a trip around the track with one of the instructor s driving.
Spots for the Porsche Driving Experience will be available for registration for that weekend. You will be responsible for scheduling with PEC it would be a logistical nightmare for me to do that part.
will post PEC contact # shortly

This is awesome. Super job.

Is there a sign up sheet or registration link you want to use so you can start gauging #s?

Or we can start a list in this thread and people just copy the list into a new post, adding their name at the bottom, so it becomes cumulative.

Default Accommodations

Being 100% honestly I don't know how to do a survey.
We have 2 options.
1 is the Hotel next door to PCNA
1 is stone mountain resort
Decision is family can go-to stone mountain and have enjoyed time. Next door is a "car guy" kinda thing.
I have gotten the Green flag from both. So now I'M ASKING
For INPUT ... I'LL make the decision if there are no opinion s
But Im on the fence
Input is open until Wednesday

I don't think you can do a poll in an existing thread. Need to start a new one. Scroll down on the new thread page and you'll see the option.

I'm solo on this trip, so I'd go the "car guy" route and vote for the hotel next to PCNA.

FWIW, the hotel next to Porsche is now branded as a Kimpton. The open-air bar/grille overlooking the runways at ATL is pretty sweet.

I'm probably going to be solo also and only for Friday night, so I too vote for the hotel next door.
