(Or...what did you drive when the 928 was just a poster on your wall?)
Mine: 1992 VW Corrado SLC (This was a little past 1989, I actually had a Scirocco 16v in 1989, but can't find a pic).
I saw this and thought it funny because I don't have a 928, but I do have an 87 924s and an 87 944, and during that time in 1987 I had a beetle, then a rabbit, then a scirocco and in 90' I got an 88' VW GTI 16V (Oh yeah) drove the wheels off that for 10 years and after that I bought a 90' VW Corrado Supercharged rocket and loved it. (But I was dreaming of a Porsche 911 everytime the rear spoiler popped up, mine worked!) I also had 3 914s including 72, 73 and a black 74 914 1.8. So your collection is pretty close to mine. First ever car was a Karmann Ghia etc... 10 vee dubs in total.
