Well worth checking out I would politely suggest. He is based in Texas I believe but would that really be a problem for such an important task?

Well. thats the owners responsibility to make sure that via ANY method it is clean.

The S4+ manifold is easy to clean, no matter the method...it presents few concerns. It's all simple tubes and very exposed places. Dont get too hung up on where/how. -You- still have to do the same final cleaning..same result either way.

A flexable toilet brush works wonders. Go at it in the bath tub, or in a white cooler so you can see any debris.

Its easy.

The engine disasters on s4+ manifolds generally come from people that dont even remove the side plates...and are asking for trouble.

S3 manifolds are a crazy thing..and much harder to clean out.

Don Buswell, did my intake, and valve covers perfectly! His daughter hand painted the lettering! The work is absolutely perfect and beautiful. You, won't have to worry about damaging you're engine! Contact him, you'll have peace of mind that he won't damage you're parts, or the engine!

Tony, use the link, in Fred's post, there are very nice pictures of my intake, and valve covers. I selected the same finish and lettering that Don has on his intake/ valve covers, plus all the hoses for my supercharger set up are red.

I haven't gotten around to doing the intake refresh yet, I wanted to get all the parts together first, and due to recent comments about head gaskets failing, I'll be yanking the heads also, to replace the head gaskets. The PO's of my car let a lot of things go. I've been trying to catch up.

I had a shop in San Pablo, S.P. Automotive, do my intake with walnut shell. That worked out well. That was on my 90 S4.





Of course we did multiple thorough cleanings be for we put it on the rebuilt engine.
