Default Motec M48 Pro for sale Price reduced

Looking to sell my Motec M48 Pro, with engine harness for an S4. The motec is programmed with all the parameters for a 928 32 valve Stroker engine, and should at least start and run. The M48 Pro has the Lambda logging function turned on. It works with the factory sensors but will need to have a variable throttle position sensor instead of the factory TPS. It will also need a wideband O2 sensor. includes the Rs232 dongle required to connect the ECU to a laptop.

I can get pics of the box and harness.

$1500 for the M48 Pro and harness

I also have a Motec Ignition expander that is new, never used. This would be if you want to install COP and get rid of the factory ignition system.

$200 for the IEX Ignition expander

How is the harness designed? Is it all terminated?

The harness follows the factory route, and has the proper connectors for each sensor. I will have to dig it out. The only thing I will need to do to is is remove the connectors for the variocam.

I have an Adaptronic and UN -terminated loom for one car. Needs programming, all lengths to be completed - but I have a car that my son may drive, and it has all hard parts ready, but no ECU and no loom. This could be a short cut, don't know. Seems like it could be easy to get it running with this (Different engine - 4.7 but good flow). Always thinking. This is "The original" car.

Mine is set up for an S4 so I don't know how that would line up for an OB engine physically. It would definitely need to be retuned. I doubt that a 4.5 would run on a tune for a 6.4 liter.

Yeah. Same basic placements for everything but I suppose tuning would still be a static cost.

true, it's also set up for the S4 flywheel timing ring and the IAC. No MAF Dual MAP Sensor setup. I have no idea what the CriP is for an OB or the tooth setup on the flywheel.

I have had a few people express interest and 2 different people sent me a link to a lower priced M48 on evilbay that is all beat up and no harness. The harness and having it set up for all the right sensors, makes this a decent deal. It does not have the S4 intake manifold temp sensor for the fans and is set up for a air temp sensor in the intake air flow.

Sean actually talked me into keeping the Motec for a little longer. Turns out there are adapters for my new injectors, and I want to see if I can get the engine running after getting it installed in a few weeks.

I decided to put the Motec back up for sale.

Original price. Includes harness for the 928 as well as the serial dongle to connect for programming. Computer is set up for a dual MAP, and Air temp sensor Also set up for the S4 and later Hall effect cam timing sensor, and the S4 and later flywheel sensor. I will also include the Motec IEX ignition expander, that I was originally selling for $200. I do not have the harness for the ignition expander.
