Rebuilding Brake Calipers

I love learning new things! Despite the unfortunate spat with that fellow, I took the wisdom herein and said "they all said there are seals in there AND dust boots" whereas I was under the impression there just was the very impressive Dust Boot which I thought served to hold the Piston and serve as seal. I went to work and 'discovered' the seals are deeply meshed into the caliper blocks which, I have missed this entire time! There is a bearing/seal place right across the street from me which I will attempt to locate these seals!

There's an old saying: measure twice cut once.
Maybe there should be many sayings like that.
In this case: research twice paint once.
Some folks on this board are grumpy a$$holes most of the time. Some, just some of the time. Most, every once in a while. Some folks like silently watching others dig themselves into deep holes. Some folks don't. All these various traits get mixed and matched and sometimes change composition on a daily basis. Trends in posts over time provide a sample set.

Pretty sure there's both a dust seal and a pressure seal. Dust seal changed design in something like 88 or 89 but the pressure seal was the same if I remember it correctly.
Isn't this the pressure seal hiding away in the caliper ...

Feel good about yourself in your sacrosanct positions my fellow 928ers. In case you need a reminder, this 928S4 was given to me, I set out to learn it's systems en mass. And, what no one noticed was these are NOT 928 Calipers, so, the sage advice given on 928 Calipers I had to wade thru in my quest to understand. And, it seems many herein (not all) do not know the beauty of the English language, Words mean things. The biggest word and phrase I will use and continue to use is Thank you, and I made a mistake. My mind was thinking the seals were on the Piston, not embedded into the Caliper block. This from many motorcycle calipers and car calipers. And, the very clever Dust Seal which attaches to the Piston which from my eye 'could' have served as the seal AND the dust boot, so, I was not looking deep inside - why would I, I taped that up and painted. Also, when I blasted these calipers they were complete with pads, then, a complete cleaning and disassembly. Driving any blasting media into Caliper crevices is a no-go at this station. And, upon my re-looking my own stuff I discovered the aforementioned seals IN the caliper blocks! Alas...I do love learning and I certainly do not operate as a sanctimonious P word ending with the letter K. I like learning, and I do not like some attitudes expressed herein.
