Default power up w/o FI harness?

My car in various states of diss-assembly. I want to power up my headlight motor to get to cycle to the rest position so I can re-connect it to the lift assembly and make the necessary adjustments. However, I have everything on my FI harness disconnected while I have my intake/cam covers off for re-coating. Are there any risks or issues associated with connecting the battery and turning the accessories on to operate the headlights?

There is a **** on the headlight motor to manually cycle up/down. Remove the rubber protective boot to see it.

No issues doing so if you have the starter/alternator and jump post connected up.

Thanks Sean, that was the bit of technical info I was looking for. I connected up the starter and was able to power up the headlight motor so I could connect and adjust the headlight lift assembly after removing it from the car.
