Looking good!
S3 engines are very "busy" on the top...and things have to go together in a very specific order. You are obviously very organized and have this figured out. Keep up the good work!
"Bite the Bullet" and purchase the correct intake gaskets, from Porsche, which have the metal with the captive "O-rings". (They are a bit "Pricey".) Much better sealing and the edges of the intake manifolds will not "warp" as they do with the paper gaskets.

Thought I would post the final pics and close the thread. After snugging everything up, she started right up. Running smoothly but haven't taken her out on the street. Couple of final notes that became issues to be resolved - always seems to be something.
1. Getting the fuel lines, plug wires, intakes to all line up nicely takes a bit of finagling but if you take your time before snugging anything, it goes together.
2. I broke the passenger side exhaust test port. After 3 hours of trying to get the stuck connector off the header, I gave up for now and plugged the hole with JB Weld and left it for another day. I also cut the tube but left the port connected for aesthetics.
3. Getting the hood aligned is a pain and while it's ok, it needs some tweaking.
4. Only known issue at the moment is the throttle linkage ball. It doesn't stay on the 3 way mechanism (it stays on the throttle body connection). It's the type of ball that does NOT have a pin. I'm thinking I may have the link bar reversed - I read in some post that they are actually different sizes.
5. I changed the plugs - the old plugs didn't seem too bad but I don't know when/if changed (car has $35k).
6. The plug wires are crispy but I left those for a different day.
Thanks to the forum for all the help !
New injectors ready to go in
Old plugs - Any thoughts on these ?
Not the best refresh but not bad and I'm happy with it for now. I used the Eastwood products and refinished the clamps as well
Just need to peel the backing off. On the top section, I cut a flap as others have done which gives access to the OEM vac diagram.
