Default Any 928 owners around Norfolk/VA Beach?

After spending 15 years in Charlotte, NC.....We are moving to Norfolk VA. I plan to bring my 928 although it will have to go into a storage building since I will not have a garage at my new house. Any owners in the area? Trying to make some contacts before we move in the spring of '19. Also....really hope I meet someone with a garage.....haha so we can have a Timing Belt party at some point.

If your really close to the area, shoot me a note. Looking forward to meeting some new folks with the same passion.

Jeff

Hello Jeff and George,

I just joined the 928 forum and I live in VA beach. I would love to meet you guys as well and in hopes to join that party to learn some tech points (TB) and get added to you all conversations and get together. I really want to learn as much as possible on this machine. I planned to get a 928 S4 this year in the fall. I've read The Essential Buyers Guide and feels like watched every 928 video on youtube (like the Sharks in the Mountain). lol.. Also, I've already ordered my Kempf tool tensioner (lol). I just wanted to introduce myself and meet yall this year.

I'm not far from Va Beach, and just a little further from norfolk. What part of norfolk are you looking to reside in?

Hopefully by Frenzy time, he'll have a nice S4 ready to make the trip up to DC. We'll see if we can help make that happen....

Hello Jeff,

I just picked up my 88' S4. Can you let me know when you move up so I can meet up with you? I've met George and he is the most nicest and humble guy I've met (very helpful and knowledge). Let me know if there if you decide to have a TB party or any 928 tech sessions. lol

Daryl

Daryl: A month ago you were going to buy in the Fall; you move fast, which is a good thing. Welcome.

If you can make it, do come to Hershey (see thread at top) in April. There will be a gathering of sharks, usu 10 - 15. Some of us arrive Friday afternoon and a lot of hot air is released; if you come just for the day, try to get there early on Sat. There is a lot to see (besides this grizzled bunch), but we don't bite, contrary to what it might appear in that dipstick thread and the vendors pack up around noon and we adjourn to Red Robin for food.

Hi Steve and thanks. Yes, I was actively looking and I stumbled on this one. Good shape and per The Essential Guide book, reading 4-8 hours on Rennlist forum every day (lol- addictive) and speaking with George M, I pulled the trigger. I don't know if I will make it to Hershey this year...but its on my to do list for sure. I may consider the Frenzy this year but it depends on a lot of things.
