Throttle shaft play
removed my faulty TPS and thought I would find a good deal of oil inside, but there was none.
what I did find was a good deal of play in the throttle shaft? should there be ANY play in the shaft?
I am guessing there should be zero?
my throttle bearings have been leaking air, so I have planned to replace them for that reason. also
hoping that new bearings will remedy this float, but wonder if the throttle shafts can wear?

^^^ thanks for that^^^
can't believe how simple it was to remove the bearings using the masonry anchor method that Hilton told me about
(2) 4 x 3/8 bolts. took about 2 minutes per bearing.
should I dress the portion of the throttle shafts that sit in the bearing? there does not appear to be anything of concern,
like scoring, but if look closely the center of this photo, it looks more like staining, for lack of a better word. would emery
or crocus cloth be ok to use?
