Default turn signal

Good day, Just wondering if somebody did change the spring for the turn signal inside the combination turn signal and wiper switch. That will be my next small project
Thanks in advance

I took mine apart to clean the contacts, you will have to drill out the rivets holding it together. I recommend working inside of a bag (your hands I mean) or you may have springs flying into another dimension never to be found again.

It's not 'supposed to' be a repairable part.

However, as noted above, you can drill out the rivets, take it apart, repair or replace the 'innards', put it back together* and then use small machine screws in place of the rivets.

I did this on my 944, where I got a 'less than perfect' multi switch and used it, along with the original one to make one good one.

*The 'put it back together' part is challenging. You have to hold about 6 different things in place, with the springs trying to send everything into orbit, and get the cover into place.
Scale modeling, gunsmithing and/or jewelry experience and tools are helpful for this.
A couple extra pairs of hands is too.
