Default Spontaneous 928 get togethers!

Lots of time is devoted to the big gatherings and incredible technical support on this forum... There are many small events that happen that involve these cars and the great people that seem to be attracted to them.

So... Here is a thread where you can post about just getting together and hitting the road with our cars and friends:

Last Sunday and Monday Steve, Jim, Eric and I got together with a couple of days notice to take in some of the fall scenery and just drive...

Eric missed the drive part as he arrived later in the day but here are Jim (white GTS) Steve Black GT) and I (silver GT) in Wequetonsing near Harbor Springs.

Not very scenic! And they say the Great Lakes have no sharks?

Here our ocean is fresh water and our roads are salty... Hence the celebration of putting the cars away for winter...

Steve lamenting the sale of his awesome XX8 U-Boat, and enjoying his lifetime visitation invitation!

On to the road... Post more later...

That's not Jim's GTS. It is the new acquisition of 928 GT R's. It is in another thread.

Ok Thanks Harvey. It appears to me that maybe the white GTS has been lowered. Maybe Eibachs installed?
I installed Eibachs on my GTS and I really like it.

Sorry for the delay in answering but I had to check on the lowering. It does not look like the springs have been changed, just lowered a bit with the threaded spring perches. Looks to be about 20mm. It is about as far as possible without getting bump-steer. I'll be bringing it back up unless I like the look. This car will not be getting many miles on it.
