I'll bet Porsche did, but I've never seen any data or information. The Jim Morhouse CD's have just about everything published on the 928. Maybe search of the CD's could shed some light on the subject. But, what would you do if you had the information? You can't redesign the system unless you have a way to measure the effect of your changes.

Just on the noise hunt..there's room for a resonant chamber off the intake, at the right frequencies..

I could discover this myself, Iv got a mic and a long cord for this...just gotta find it.

Hmmm, ok that's a different issue. Lots of new cars come with a resonent chamber for just that purpose.
