Default My New 1983 928S, sat for 14 years

Hello everyone,
I just bought a 1983 Porsche 928_S that sat for 14 years in someone's garage. The interior is dusty, however the seat and dashboard is in very good shape. The owner did remove some panels as he was fixing the rear antenna, the windows regulator and not too sure what else.

I need someone to confirm if I am missing any fuses from the fuse panel:

Are there any missing fuses?

Thanks...

Well, the fuses are all there, except maybe for the one on the right. Although that one may not be used. I would be more worried about missing relays at this point. You can either download a relay chart or get a copy of the PET program to see the detail of what relays go where. Overall, looks pretty clean, and being a L jet car there is at least the possibility of not too many fuel system issues from sitting.

Welcome! Sounds like a good story to tell. I love these kinds of stories especially when they are the very frequent successes I have seen!

I would say "please post pictures" and keep reporting in.

Unfortunately, since my computer is still suffering from the current bout of "rennlist blurry picture syndrome" though, it's taking some of the fun out of the story for me and I can't really add anything for you!

Here is another picture where I could not find any reference for the associated relay. Any Idea would help.. Thx
This located on the passenger side under the radio area location, more on the side.

Thanks

Fog light relay is missing and we can tell by the kick-down jumper that your car is a 5 speed.

Got it, this is why the fog lights are not turning on. Great!! thanks for our Help.

And, yes. The car is a 1983 928_S Manual transmission, color Baltic Blue. As it sat for 14 years, I need to flush the transmission oil and the engine oil. I have a list of other items that I plan to do before I start the car.
I am trying for now to reassemble all the panels the previous owner removed. Apparently he wanted to clean them.

It's an external relay mount (aftermarket). What harness is it wired into?

There is no relay in that aftermarket mount, so whatever is supposed to be happening will not without a relay mounted in it. That wiring appears to be tie wrapped to a window/sunroof switch harness(the yellow and green connectors), but whether it is wired to a window/sunroof switch harness, I can't tell.

Do the windows/sunroof work?

That might be the door buzzer relay socket. It should be mounted under the console on the central hump.

The windows work perfectly. The sunroof has a switch at the center console. When pressed on it, the motor seems to kick in and stop right away. Looks like it is stuck. May need to be cleaned. Will have to check this.

I am facing issues with the rear lights. The left one does not turn on and the right one does. I thought at first it was due to burned light bulb, but after replacing them, I still face the same.
