Instead of a whole bunch of hot air, this is our view at the start of today:

Only 1,677 miles to go, unless of course we take an alternate route. Jim wants to hit Kansas because it is a state he has never been to and its on his list to get them all before he turns 50. Sort of a 50 by 50 thing.

I get it and were "on it".

In other news, a close inspection of the GTS reveals absolutely no dents or even door dings. This car is unbelievably straight! I have to look back every time we walk away.

Made the final 1,677 miles in about 23 hours, straight through... Total for the trip was 4,594 miles.

Here is a shot of an early morning check to see if her restraints were in order. She was trying to get out of the fronts...

She may be unsullied, but she has an attitude for certain...

It was an amazingly smooth drive with no mishaps of any consequence! Yeah!

Fresh out of jail, (or was it protective custody) ?

Sun came out just long enough for the escape and then it started to rain again.

And now it is a good time to wrap this up for the night...

Glad you made it there safe and sound. I have driven down to Arizona lots of times, and enjoy the spirited drive through the hills and valleys. Great way to prove the 928 is the best handling car around.

^This.

While not the optimum environment, being tucked away, safe and sound from all the rocks & gravel that the big trucks kick up, is the best place.

Looks like you guys are having an awesome adventure.

Thanks Dave for having me be a part of your adventure!

That was a record miles road trip for me. And 4 new states to add to my list.
