Default A new argument in the Great Oil Debate?

Not available in the US or Canada (yet?), Porsche Classic now sells their fancy engine oil for the transaxle cars. The weight is......10W-50!

I'll just stick to my Shell Helix 20W50 Dino oil. And keep changing it every 7,500kms.

The important number is the "50". When the engines are cold 10 weight will still pin the pressure gauge and open the bypass, so the difference between 10-50 or 20-50 are moot.

Is that the price of the oil or the engine?
