Can't imagine why it would spontaneously crack; also can't imagine why any shop would touch the transmission when doing the clutch. If they did, the question is, do you let them touch it again?

I’m not going to bring my car to that particular shop anymore. I was very disappointed in their workmanship. Also, I’m not going to blame anyone, because it’s a waste of time. I’m looking for a used transaxle...
I called all the usual places.
