No pictures of this, but the drivers seat steel framework on my 1980 was repaired via torch welding, with the foam cushions still in place.... what a mess!

These fuel lines on the 16V euros sure do have tight radius’s!

Looks like lug bolts from other German automakers do fit our cars.

Noticed that.

If this engine ran, it:
- was one loose belt flap from shredding the belt teeth
- might be proof of God’s existence because it’s a @#$%ing miracle.

IIRC, 10+ years ago Heinrich paid a shop to do the belt on his GTS. That shop strung the belt like that —^ and the motor ran for a hour(-ish, IIRC) before it grenaded.
