There's a grey '86.5 on BaT now, and as everyone knows, those are the best models. Cosmetically mostly very good, but has sat for a while and will need a good bit of sorting. Probably a better car for someone who wants to do that work themselves...

Yeah it’s like a magic trick! All I have to do is ask for it and it appears. I saw that one today- sounds like I’d have to have it hauled right to Philly for Stan to get it running- a little bit of a scary proposition with so many question marks. Plus it’d be pretty hard to explain to my wife! Thanks for the heads up- I’m excited to find the right car, and the search is fun too.

Question on the polished wheels: My wheels are polished and the lug c'bores and 7 slots (inner surfaces) are black, most likely painted (I can't tell, but the black finish is pretty robust - it's not filth). I noticed in pictures of other polished man hole covers, these same features are also black. Do you believe all these wheels started out anodized, and were modified by various shops to "blacken" and polish them? TIA.
The anodized wheels that were on it when I got it do not.
Interesting.
