Bungee is correct but only on 78/79 cars.

Thanks Rog! I definitely would have developed a case of bungee envy otherwise.

Although I have the location for the tiny hook (where key is placed) used to remove the wheel lug lock cap, my car was supplied with the key that has an integral hook built in to remove the caps as seen in the pictures and noted in the owners manual.
Hi Anthony,
Just a comment regarding the hook for removing the wheel lock caps. And some wheel lock trivia.
The original set of 928 wheel locks were 928 361 047 03. Wheel lock on one of the 5 nuts released with a key and the key slot covered with a black plastic cap.
AFAIK these were used until 1993 - my own 93 GTS came with a set and also the hook in the tool kit for removing those black plastic covers over the lock.
94/95 GTS cars came with the later wheel locks that needed a socket to remove them 993 361 057 00. So no black plastic caps or keys.
My 95 had the later wheel locks but also had the hook in the tool tray even though it was no longer needed. Interesting that yours came without the hook but you still had the older style locks with cap and key. Interesting what others had in their 94/95 GTS cars.

The same lock, cap and key sets were used on other cars 911, 9442, 968 cars either with the 928 361 047 00 part number or identical alternatives 965 361 955 00, 968 361 955 00 which all superseded to 993 361 057 00.until circa 90/92.

Interested in feedback on the 94/95 cars relevant to lock style and if the "hook" was present in the tool kit.
Part number for the hook is 928 361 311 00

Roger,

Of the few GTS's I have judged some had it and some didn't. I have the same locks on my 94 turbo and 93 964 C2 both came with the hook in the tool kits and the normal short key. It is possible my car was originally supplied with the hook I'm not the original owner. There is an insert to the owners manual stating this car has the key with the built in hook so I am assuming it was omitted??? In either case I have spares. I don't keep them in the cars since they are easily lost and I don't use the locks on my other cars.
