Default Early Car Console Plastic Needed

Hi All,
Can anybody help with that filler piece between the window switches on early cars. Or, can the 3D printing guys make it perhaps?
Cheers
Scott

Hey Scott. Do you know if that is an NLA piece? If so I'm always interested in seeing if I can replicate NLA parts.

Hi Nat

Yes mate, no longer available. Great piece to replicate if you can. I think a lot of folks just fill it up with non functioning switches. Something I'd rather not do if possible. Unfortunately I don't even have a broken part I could send you. Mine is missing altogether.

Cheers
Scott

No worries. Maybe Rob or Roger will see this. Those guys usually have access to NLA parts like these.

Is it the one that fills two slots or the false switch that just fills one?

I think I have the one from my '79 downstairs since I installed switches into it - 1 for electric door locks and the other for the auxiliary front lights. I can check tomorrow night when I'm back home.

Hi Pete,

If Nate doesn't need it for copying I'll absolutely take it thanks.

Whatever you guys want to do. If it needs to go to Nate first then ship to you after he's made a 3D printing file and template, so be it, just let me know.

I wouldn't mind replacing mine (slight scratches on it) with one that looks like new.
There would be decent demand for these, even from cars that aren't missing them.

I'll see if I can beg/borrow one from Mark, and run it through the scanner and get the file to Nate. There's also one in Minerva, maybe William might loan me the piece for scanning.

Ok guys, this looks like a slam dunk easy part to make.

Rob, I'd also like to get my hands on one so I can match the texture. Let me know if I can borrow one for a couple of weeks. That way Pete can get his over to Scott sooner. If you can't get me one, no worries, I will have Pete send me his and will send it along to Scott when I'm done.
