Default Crankshaft position sensor & Temp sensor choices

has anyone installed a Facet or FAE brand CSP sensor or temp sensor in an S4?

just wondering if they actually work or if a Bosch is the only choice.

I would suggest that you buy only Bosch parts for the electric system in your car,
they are proven to last a long time and work perfectly,
thus saving time when inferior parts fail and then creating rework scenarios .

Said another way how many times do you want to fix something so its really fixed?
Once ?
Twice?
Three times?

...and ONLY buy them from a known retailer. Stuff you find on Amazon, Rock Auto etc... may or may not be a real Bosch part. Best to stay with the known 928 parts suppliers like 928 International, 928 Specialists, 928's R Us. The "big 3" as we like to call them around here.

We know things like fuel pumps are being counterfeited, wouldn't put it past them to be ripping off sensors too.

Facet & FAE are cheaper aftermarket parts. Lots of issues with returns on FAE oil pressure senders - as an example.
As Bosch is readily available for these critical parts I stick with OEM sales.
I sell the Bosch CPS is $79 and the Temp II $27.95
