Ed, Certainly do have it still, although not heavily used. I dont think its condition is typical of white cars - its more a reflection of the general treatment of cars in Saudi, especially by wealthy owners. One car I had there had shiny patches on the pax side dash - thats where male pax generally rest their feet. Regular service usually stops when the warranty runs out. The white body is very practical in keeping temperatures down. As above the hole was for the ET style blaupunkt controller, which I donated to somebody in USA who had a HU it could connect to, since I had nothing that could use it . When I got the car in Riyadh in 2001 it already had a tired Kenwood HU. Car is a C16 (UK) model, bought by son of current king of Saudi while he was at school in UK - have the factory invoice. It shows interesting stuff like "99 Leather to Sample", and opts 220,455,468,474.533 among others. Climate control is not listed, but its fitted. Car was air freighted to UK, spent some 10 years there, then out to Riyadh. It seems to have been in the name of one of the Prince's minders until I bought it out of a car yard where it was on consignment. The seats were in bad condition - not surprising considering summer temps of 120F and 10% humidity, so I had them recovered when I got back to Oz, coincidentally with German leather - slightly different texture, but white leather is not common. Also had the steering wheel recovered here, and the rest of the leather interior rejuvenated. Had a WUR problem early, but Eric in Sweden (dec now) donated one. Radiator broke the inlet pipe off, thats about the sum of issues I have had. Repainted 10 years ago, stripped back to metal, replaced the front bumper cover as it was distorted, and the rear cover to get rid of the horrible black Euro things, and the UK fog lights. Still starts stone cold like a modern car, and pulls really well, its like a magic carpet on good roads.
Corresponded with Brian Long, and he agrees the pic is almost certainly my car, but the pic he got from Porsche has no information on it. There is nothing on the invoice about body colour wheels, but they are factory.

I'm always impressed with how well this design has held up. Some of these are really beautiful examples!
