Default S3 engine lift brackets

My car is an '86.5 and since I'm starting to think about motor mounts and steering rack, I went looking for the lift points. I don't think I have any, unless they're hiding. I found some pictures showing an engine that had been lifted and the attachment points appeared to be two brackets bolted to the outside of the heads, one passenger side front, one driver's side rear. Is that correct? I haven't removed anything to go looking in earnest, but it looked like I should be able to see them without taking stuff off but I can't. I just want to confirm that my description is correct, and I wasn't looking at some custom setup.

Use an an engine support from the likes of Harbor Freight, wrap the chain around the fan where it bolts to the water pump and you have all the support you will need.
