Default Converting 79 To Steel Ball Loints

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if I can use 928-341-049-09 plus the associated hardware or do I need a different ball joint?

Cheers
Scott

You need the earlier steel ones PN 92834104914. Those are for a later suspension and wont fit. You also will need new eccentrics 92834146600.

Note that they also call up the later bottom shock mounts for this update, but the only difference is shorter bolts, as the steel ball joints are thinner- if you arent lowered, and you dont often strike obstacles, you should be ok. You might cut the excess off? You only need 2 new eccentrics, IIRC, as 2 of the old ones move to a different bolt.
