Default Which SEM Paint on Black Leather?

My Black Leather is a bit fried but I'm working on bringing it back. I am going to order the Superior Restoration Dash Restore Kit and give it a go on the dash and pod based on positive commentary here.

But, I'd also like to get the SEM Aerosol products from Amazon to do the other panels. What is people's experience with these and which black should I be using?

This is what I want to order....

Anyone used SEM on leather/vinyl door panels, dash and seats? I'm assuming the key is prep work.

Any other dye considerations?

I only use dye from Colorplus. Period. I have yet to see an aerosol attempt that didn't disappoint. That's my experience Others may differ.

SEM "Landau Black" is the black color I have been using for 20+ years with great results.

Just use your favorite degreaser to clean as much surface dirt/oil as possible. Do a light coat first then follow within 10-20 minutes with a heavier (medium) coat.

Great stuff and lasted for years every time I used it.

Hope that helps,

Dave

Hey Dave - did you use an aerosol SEM product or was it applied as a liquid with a sponge/brush/rag?
