Default Air Con Compressor Help Please

Hi Guys,

Does anybody know if a later air-con compressor will fit on an 86.5? I see they have different part numbers but they look the same as the Denso I have on my car...well...out of my car, at the moment. Mine has obviously thumped the road at some point as one bolt point has broken off completely and the other is cracked with a dodgied up bracket to hold it in place.

Cheers
Scott

These guys: https://griffiths.com/porsche/air-conditioning/

can help you. Sometimes they chime in here on questions such as this. No affiliation. They have or have had 928, so I would call them. Or you can search here on "Griffiths", but that function is sometimes frustrating.

Compressor will, but in all likelihood you will have to change the hoses - they are going to be different depending on the model year.

Use the 1980-1989 model Denso, 928 126 010 06 or an aftermarket kit
Toss in a new drier, add oil for oil lost, check your hoses at compressor,
replace as many orings in the system as you can, evac, charge and test.
