Thank you again, Dave.
I can remove one car from the list of possible cars, the dark blue 1989. It's original registration wasn't S-HD1234.
So, if the car was dark green, this is last 1989 CS that I need to find. It was used as a company car by the factory, and I know who was using it.
If it was dark blue, without a roof antenna, this is the only dark blue 1988 CS used as a company car by the factory.

Samuel,
I talked to Fred at a tournament dinner this evening, he noticed and fixated on the XX8 when we arrived.
Fred is more than willing to attempt to identify any individuals in the picture. Unfortunately I did not have the picture with me, (now it's in my golf bag.)
He knows of the cars but does not know where they went. As I explained that they were "missing" from those of us who would seek them, he offered to partake in the hunt! If you have any other clues that might help find these extremely significant CS's I'm all in and can buy and extract them on short notice.
One hurdle that he was pointing out was that Porsche scattered his team after his work was completed and that many of the players were no longer alive.
BTW,
That 87 Wide body you included in the XX8 thread is awesome and I have seen (and admired) it before. Thanks for the "heads up" I will enquire as to the terms...
Regards

So... If the car was a Dark Green 1989, and it is the last 928 CS that you need to find...
And... You know who was using it...
Who was using it?

Who was using it?

Dave,
Great news, I will send you an email with everything I know about the missing cars.
The user of the "missing" green 1989 is still alive and I'm not sure that he would like to be quoted. I prefer to ask him before, if you don't mind.

Samuel,
Thanks, I will look forward to learning more about these rarities.
Of course, discretion is important...
