Default Little help with hard fuel line routing

I have the three hard lines, fuel out, fuel return and vent line started in the guides under the vehicle. One fuel line terminates at the passenger fender well, the vent line goes up toward the carbon canister. The fuel return line is what puzzles me. I see the path it takes from under the car, to up and towards the top of the fuel tank, but I do not know how to place it, if that makes any sense. Any pictures of the hard line routes, or, just an explanation of how the fitting for fuel return on top of the tank connects to the hard return fuel line would be appreciated.

The return line runs from the fuel cooler down than back to the tank. The line runs behind rear control arm, then up over the sway bar and transaxle cross member. Above the tank a small rubber hose connects the hard line to the tank. You can look for the screws in the body that the white clips attach too. I have pics but they are at home.

Here are a couple of routing shots from a '78 from front to back, should be the same in '79:

Rob, in your first picture there which one is the feed and which is the return line? I'm in the middle of replacing my FPR but have realized the masking tape I used to mark which one was which got cut off with the rest of the hose. Would the feed line be closer to the outside (wheel well) or engine? My car is a '90 s4 if that makes a difference

Alternately here is the pic of my setup - red circle or green circle?

Red circle is the feed line, which comes forward, crosses the coolant Y-pipe, and forward past the shock tower.

Thanks so much Rob, that was correct. Very relieved that the hard lines are still in the right places on my swap car. I'm now troubleshooting a no-start/low fuel pressure issue, but at least everything is hooked up right. Still getting fuel to the rails but only between 0-5 PSI. Either got the wrong/bad FPR, or damaged the pump by pumping on an empty tank for too long. Waiting on some 6AN fittings that have NPT pressure hookups so I can diagnose section by section.

Will take this question to the LS1Tech forum though!
