CNN 70 years of Porsche - No 928
How in the hell can they leave out the 928 and 944? Especially the 928 when they are talking about design?

They seem to frequently airbrush the 928 out of their history, maybe due to sales figures or not achieving its aim of replacing the 911. Regardless of the fact it was the first ground up Porsche and years ahead of its time

add the fact that its probably written by someone educated in the fine art of the flare of the obvious,
rather than a true investigative journalist.

I'm so glad that the 928 stays submerged under the sonar.
Is anyone else reaching a fatigue point with all the PERFORMANCE CAR EXPERTS out there ?
Seems like everybody knows it *all* when it comes to cars. I dunno.. maybe it's always been that way,
just more so now that YouLube, CNN, Farcebook, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc are constantly piling up
steaming new piles of "what I think about this" ....
LOL it also seems like a lot of the experts are whiny, skinny-legged kids I wouldn't allow near my daughter.
(Or especially my sons) LOL

In fairness, there's a lot of models they didn't mention: 912, 914, 944, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan, Panamara, 918, etc. Not to mention tanks, tractors and the rest. Maybe Fox will be more fair and balanced

I own a 944, 928 and 997. Had a 964 and 993 in the past. While I loved seeing the 997 on the list, it certainly should not have been mentioned in light of some of the other styling innovations. 928, Boxster and Cayenne are all strong for an article like this.
